Thompson Morrison has spent the last couple of decades figuring out how companies can innovate faster.
Before co-founding FUSE, Mr. Morrison was Managing Director of AccessMedia International (AP), a consulting firm that provides strategic market analysis for the IT industry. His clients included Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, IBM, and Vignette.
Prior to that, Mr. Morrison was the Regional Consulting Director/Asia Pacific for Dataquest. He has also served as the Managing Director, Greater China for the International Data Corporation (IDC) as well as being the founding Director of the Technology Practice for Investec/Coopers&Lybrand in Taiwan. Mr. Morrison graduated magna cum laude from Yale University.

Hi Thompson,
I was just reading your blog post about failure = success and I think its really important that people get this message. The more that we think of success and failure as opposites instead of parts of a larger whole, the bigger disappointments we may face.
I was also fascinated about the lesson of the “genetic programming” paradigm you described. I think there is a lot we can learn from the world of software development and that can be applied to innovation in aesthetic and social causes.
My passion for these issues of late stems from the short video I recently completed as a collaborative effort with participants in a fail conference held here in Berlin.
How secure must we be to take risks?
Does anonymity play a big role in how you behave online?
What is the difference between losing and failing?
